About Page for Peter Zendzian’s Blog

Welcome to my corner of the internet! I’m Peter Zendzian, and I’m thrilled to have you here. This blog is where I share my experiences, insights, and lessons learned from over two decades in the military and the tech industry. My journey has been anything but ordinary, and I hope that by sharing it, I can help others navigate their paths.

Who Am I?

I spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. Those years taught me the importance of leadership, teamwork, and resilience. Transitioning from military to civilian life wasn’t easy, but it led me to co-found ZZ Servers, where I now help businesses build secure IT infrastructures.

What Drives Me?

I’m passionate about sharing knowledge and helping others. Whether it’s through offering cybersecurity tips, sharing stories from my Navy days, or providing DIY project advice, my goal is to create a resource that others can learn from. I believe in the power of community, and I’m here to contribute my part.

Who Is This Blog For?

This blog is for IT professionals, military veterans transitioning into civilian careers, small business owners seeking tech advice, and hobbyists who love a good DIY project. You’re in the right place if you value practical advice, personal stories, and actionable insights.

My Interests

When I’m not working, you’ll find me in my workshop, tackling a new woodworking project or making progress converting my bus into an RV. I love spending time outdoors, especially near the water, and I am keen to stay ahead of the latest tech trends.

My Background

I hold an Associate of Science in Electronics Engineering from Tidewater Community College. After my Navy career, I stepped into the tech world, co-founding ZZ Servers, where I apply my cybersecurity and project management skills to help businesses thrive.
